Raquel earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Sam Houston State University. Upon graduation, she worked as a Special Education Teacher specializing in working with children with Autism and neurological differences. She earned a Master of Science Degree with a Specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Kaplan University. She continued to work with youth, adolescence, and adults with neurological differences and Traumatic Brain injuries. She specializes in crisis intervention, behavior modification, trauma, academic and social skills building, self-advocacy, and grief and bereavement.
